At Chhunchi, we celebrate the craftsmanship of India’s handloom heritage by bringing you carefully curated sarees crafted by skilled artisans. Every saree is thoroughly inspected before dispatch to ensure it meets our quality standards.
The products offered on Chhunchi are handwoven and handcrafted by skilled artisans and weavers, often working from their homes or small workshops across India.
Because these sarees are created through traditional techniques, minor irregularities such as slight variations in weave, small slubs in the fabric, subtle print inconsistencies, or slight color differences may occur. These are natural results of the handmade process and are not considered defects or damage, but rather a reflection of the authenticity and uniqueness of handcrafted textiles.
We therefore encourage customers to review product details carefully before purchasing and to handle sarees with care if a return request needs to be made.
However, if there is an issue with your order, we are happy to assist you.
Returns Eligibility
We accept return requests only under the following circumstances:
• You received a damaged product
• You received the wrong item
• The product has a manufacturing defect
To qualify for a return:
• The request must be raised within 24 hours of delivery
• The saree must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
• The saree must be returned with original tags, packaging, and blouse piece intact
• The saree must remain in its original folded condition
Returns requested after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the delicate and handcrafted nature of our products, the following cases are not eligible for returns:
• Products that have been used, washed, or altered
• Products returned without original packaging or tags
• Products damaged after delivery due to improper handling
• Requests made after the allowed reporting window
Natural Variations in Handloom Products
Our sarees are handwoven or handcrafted, which means minor variations may occur in:
• Weaving patterns
• Color tones
• Texture or finish
These natural irregularities are not defects but rather a mark of authenticity and craftsmanship.
Additionally, colors may appear slightly different due to screen settings, lighting, or photography.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return request, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Please email us with the following details:
• Order Number
• Unboxing Video of the product showing the defect.
• Clear photos and video of the product showing the defect.

Our team will review the request and respond within 2–3 business days.
Return Shipping
If the return request is approved:
• We may arrange a pickup service, depending on your location.
• If pickup is unavailable, you may be requested to ship the product to our return address.
Return shipping costs may be reimbursed if the product is verified as damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Refunds
Once we receive the returned product, it will undergo a quality inspection.
If the return is approved:
• The refund will be processed to your original payment method
• Refunds are typically completed within 5–7 business days
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.
Exchanges
Currently, Chhunchi does not offer product exchanges due to the limited and handcrafted nature of our saree collections.
If you wish to purchase another product, we recommend placing a new order after the refund process is completed.
