Khandua is an ikat silk woven in Nuapatna and Maniabandha in Cuttack district, Odisha, and it is GI-tagged. It was traditionally woven for Lord Jagannath of Puri, and its motifs include elephants, lions, kumbha (temple), flowers and lines from the Gita Govinda. It is also called Khandua patta.

Care

Dry clean only. Store the saree wrapped in a soft cotton or muslin cloth, away from moisture, and refold it every few months. Do not spray perfume directly on the silk, and iron on low heat with a cloth in between.
