Sambalpuri Bandha, Odisha's tie-and-dye ikat, is a GI-tagged textile from the weaving districts of Sambalpur, Bargarh and Sonepur in western Odisha. It is woven in both silk and cotton. Common motifs are the shankha (conch), chakra (wheel), phula (flower) and rudraksha, along with the pasapalli check.
